The project
From the need to the site going live
Background
Mouna Sahnoun is an interior architect based in Sfax and a member of the Sfax Regional Chamber of Interior Architects and of the Tunisian Council of Interior Architects. Her practice works with private clients and businesses on the design, renovation and fit-out of projects in Tunisia, which it describes as high-end: interior design, home renovation, kitchens, swimming pools, furnishing and decoration, gardens, as well as offices and medical practices, showrooms, shops and exhibition stands. The practice says it has been working since 2007, and Mouna Sahnoun sums up her vision in one sentence: “A successful interior is never merely beautiful: it reflects the soul of those who live in it, elevates their everyday life and tells a story in their image.”
The challenge
An interior architecture project involves a real budget and a great deal of trust. Before booking an appointment, a homeowner or a business wants to see finished work, understand how the architect works and check that she handles their kind of project, from a kitchen to a showroom. The site had to present a broad offer, residential and professional, without muddling it, show real work, and make every service findable by people looking for an interior architect in Sfax or elsewhere in Tunisia.
What we did
We designed and built the site and took care of its search engine optimisation:
- one page per service: nine service pages, six for residential projects (interior design, home renovation, kitchen design, swimming pool design, furnishing and decoration, garden landscaping) and three for professional projects (offices and medical practices, showrooms and retail spaces, exhibition stands);
- a home page that walks visitors through the practice: the architect, client logos, videos, the residential and professional offers, then a four-step method (project analysis, space planning, choice of materials, works supervision);
- case studies that can be filtered by type of project (renovation, showroom, exhibition stand…);
- an advice blog published in the architect’s name;
- search engine optimisation: page titles and URLs built around interior architecture in Sfax and Tunisia (“… Sfax & Tunisie” in the home page title, “design-interieur-tunisie” in a service page URL…);
- the mobile version: every page reads comfortably on a phone.
