The project

From the need to the site going live

Background
SkanLink is a product designed, built and operated by AD AZUR DIGITAL. It is a SaaS platform for digital business cards, live on skanlink.com: each professional creates a card, shares it by QR code, NFC chip or a plain link, and the person receiving it opens it without installing an app. The service is aimed at freelancers, shops, sales teams and institutions (schools, associations, local authorities), in French, English and Arabic.
The challenge
A paper business card goes out of date with the first new phone number and says nothing about what it brings in. Replacing it called for a service in which every account stays separate from the others, with its own cards, contacts and pack limits, and AI features that help every day without their cost getting out of hand.

What we did
We built the platform end to end:
- a multi-tenant architecture: each account keeps its cards, contacts, files and statistics to itself;
- a card editor with 13 layouts designed around trades (Menu, Vitrine, Clinique, Cabinet, Chantier, Studio, Scène, Annonce, Atelier, Terminal, Poster, Material, Wallet);
- modules to add to a card: mini shop, photo gallery, video, appointment booking;
- sharing by QR code and NFC, with a contact file to save and capture of incoming contacts;
- AI built into the product: a photographed paper card scanned into a contact, a personal AI assistant in the user’s workspace, a chat assistant on the public card;
- AI token quotas per pack, to keep model costs under control;
- subscription packs (Free, Essentiel, Pro, Business, Enterprise and an offer for institutions) and an admin back office for accounts, packs, sales and moderation;
- sign-in with a passkey, Google or Facebook;
- a three-language interface, Arabic included, with right-to-left layout.
